About The Council of State Governments
The Council of State Governments (CSG) is the nation’s only non-profit non-partisan organization serving all three branches of state government. Nationally, they seek to foster the exchange of insights and ideas to help state officials shape public policy and advance the common good. As a region-based forum, CSG offers unparalleled opportunities to collaborate and create problem-solving partnerships. The WIC Special Project Innovation Grant (WSPI) project team at CSG will administer and support awards to WIC agencies through providing technical assistance during all phases of this funding opportunity.
About the Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition
The Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition (GSCN) is an independent non-profit research center dedicated to providing expertise in measurement and evaluation of public health nutrition-related programs. Nationally, they offer partnership and resources to improve diet and physical behavior among youth and their families to help grow a healthier next generation. GSCN will work alongside The Council of State Governments to provide technical assistance to applicants and grantees as well as lead evaluation efforts for the project.
