The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is working with other federal members of Operation Warp Speed, a partnership between the federal government, scientific community and private sector to develop and deliver vaccines in record time, to plan and implement a COVID-19 vaccination program as soon as a vaccine is available. To better assist in updating and implementing of existing pandemic vaccination plans and assess needs, five selected jurisdictions are serving as pilot sites for joint planning missions.
