During eight virtual meetings with the full task force and one state-curated conversation for each of the eight participating states, task force members examined three focus areas in long-term care that are highlighted in the guide:<\/p><ul><li>State Regulation of Long-Term Services and Supports Facilities.<\/li><li>Optimizing American Rescue Plan Act Spending on Home- and Community-Based Services.<\/li><li>Revitalizing the Direct Care Workforce and Supporting Family Caregivers.<\/li><\/ul><p>Those focus areas are detailed in the CSG <a href=\"https:\/\/www.csg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/11\/Long-Term_Care_2022_Final.pdf\">Long-Term Care Policy Guide<\/a>.<\/p><p>Additional details on the third focus area, which is the focus of the Network and the current project, can be found under State Strategies to Revitalize the Long-Term Care Workforce. With the assistance of Network members, CSG seeks to provide regular updates on each strategy and the states that have advanced these policies and
